Shutter & Speed Photography ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through shutterandspeed.co.nz, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you submit a booking through our website, we collect:

Your full name, email address and phone number
The property address for the shoot
Your preferred shoot date
Any notes you choose to add (e.g. gate codes, access instructions)

If you pay by card, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number, expiry date, or CVC.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

Respond to your booking request and arrange your shoot
Process payment for the selected package, via Stripe
Send you a confirmation of your booking
Contact you about the shoot (e.g. to confirm access or reschedule)

How we store it

This website does not use a database. When you submit the booking form, your details are emailed directly to our business inbox and, where applicable, a confirmation is emailed to you. From that point, your information exists only in our email inbox (and, for card payments, temporarily within Stripe's own systems as part of processing the payment).

Who we share it with

We don't sell, rent, or otherwise share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. The only parties who process your information are:

Stripe — processes card payments. See stripe.com/privacy.
Hostinger — hosts this website and delivers our email. Your information passes through their infrastructure as part of normal hosting and email delivery.

Fonts

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Loading a font may share your IP address with Google as part of that request. See Google's privacy policy for details. We don't use any analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand), you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request a correction, or to request that we delete it. To do so, email g.kant1998@gmail.com.

How long we keep it

We keep booking emails for as long as reasonably necessary for business and accounting purposes, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and we don't store payment card details on our servers at all — that's handled entirely by Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change.
